Pakistani Media: Sharif and Zardari Agree on Forming a Coalition Government

Bayan News – Pakistani media outlets have reported that Shahbaz Sharif and Ahsan Ali Zardari, leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), have agreed to form a coalition government.

According to Geo News, Sharif and Zardari have decided to establish a coalition government in the center and Punjab, and they have also resolved to finalize the power-sharing formula in future meetings.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan, who is currently in prison, has claimed victory in the Pakistani elections.

In an AI-generated video, Khan stated that his party, Tehreek-e-Insaf, has won the elections by securing two-thirds majority in the National Assembly.

The former Prime Minister of Pakistan stated, “By voting for us, you have laid the foundation of true democracy in Pakistan. I congratulate all of you for the victory in the 2024 elections.”

The Election Commission of Pakistan has not yet officially announced the results of the elections to the public.
