Taliban Rejects Presence of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan Fighters in Afghanistan

Bayan News – Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban government, has rejected the claim made by Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan. It was stated that there are five to six thousand TTP fighters present in Afghan soil.

Zabihullah Mujahid added that their government does not allow Afghan territory to be used against other countries, including Pakistan.

According to Mujahid, there are no foreign self-willed groups present in Afghanistan, and they are not granted permission to operate there.

He stated, “In this regard, we have made our final efforts and continue to do so. However, we must accept that Afghanistan shares a long and porous border with Pakistan, encompassing both plains and mountains. There are areas that may be beyond our control.”

Ashraf Ghani has recently claimed in his statements that India provides funds to incite the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) through Afghanistan.

However, relations between Kabul and Islamabad have been tense in the past year regarding the issue of TTP, as Pakistan claims that its security is affected from the Afghan side.
