Bayan News – Local Taliban officials in the province of Kandahar report that in a suicide attack this morning, Friday (March 21st), in the first security district of the city of Kandahar, 15 people have been killed and injured.
Asadullah Jamshid, spokesperson for the Kandahar security command, told the media that as a result of this attack, three civilians lost their lives and 12 others were injured.
The suicide attack took place this morning in the vicinity of the former security command office near Kabul Bank, and it is said to have occurred among passport applicants.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for this event.
This is the first suicide attack in the new solar year in Afghanistan.
