Taliban publicly lashed three individuals accused of theft in Ghōr province
Bayan News – the Supreme Court of the Taliban has announced that three individuals accused of theft were publicly lashed in the Dolina district of Ghōr province.
In the newsletter released by the Supreme Court of the Taliban on Sunday, March 30, it is stated that these accused individuals were subjected to public punishment in a gathering held yesterday.
Since regaining control of Afghanistan, the Taliban have repeatedly publicly lashed accused individuals and have also publicly executed five individuals in the provinces of Farah, Laghman, Ghazni, and Jowzjan.
rights organizations consider the public punishment of individuals as a violation of their human dignity and call for its cessation.
