Nine children have lost their lives following a mine explosion in Ghazni
Bayan News – It has been reported from Ghazni province that as a result of a mine explosion in the Giro district of the province, nine children have lost their lives.
Local Taliban officials have confirmed the incident and added that the children were playing with a mine they found from past wars.
The incident occurred on Monday, March 31st.
The head of Taliban’s Information and Culture stated that the children were between the ages of 5 and 15, including five girls among them.
Yesterday, a similar explosion also took place in the Rabat Sangi district of Herat province.
In the mine explosion in Herat province, seven children were killed and injured.
