Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army: “Operation has concluded from our perspective”

Bayan News – Mohammad Baqeri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, states that the attack on Israel has achieved its objective and the operation has concluded from Tehran’s perspective.

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army added today, Monday (April 14th), in an interview with Iranian television news network, that if Israel carries out an attack on Iran or Iranian military facilities in the region, the next operation will be much larger than this.

Mr. Baqeri also stated that Iran has sent a message to the United States through the Swiss embassy, warning that if the US participates in a possible retaliatory attack by Israel against Iran, “US bases in the region will not be secure.”

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces stated that Iran had the capability to carry out an attack on Israel “tens of times larger,” but they refrained from attacking “population and economic centers” in Israel.

Iran launched an attack on Israel on Sunday night with over 300 drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.

The spokesperson for the Israeli army states that “99 percent” of the projectiles were neutralized before reaching their target, but confirmed that a missile hit the Nativatim airbase and caused “minor damage.”
