Bayan News – The Afghan Journalists Center reports that Habibullah Taseer, a journalist for Radio Azadi in Ghazni province, has been detained by Taliban intelligence.
The media center added in a statement on Thursday (April 17) that the Radio Azadi journalist was arrested and imprisoned 12 days ago.
The Afghan Journalists Center has demanded that the Taliban immediately and unconditionally release this journalist from detention.
Local sources have reported that the Radio Azadi journalist has been detained on charges of preparing reports for Radio Azadi.
It is said that his case will be sent to the Taliban court for further review.
It should be noted that the Taliban has banned the activities of several media outlets in Afghanistan, including Radio Azadi.
