Zelensky: America’s aid package shows that Ukraine will not be the second Afghanistan for America

Bayan News – Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, says that the approval of the $61 billion aid package by America shows that Ukraine will not be the second Afghanistan for the United States.

He made these statements on Sunday (April 21) in an interview with NBC news and added that the United States will not leave Ukraine alone.

The President of Ukraine said, “This aid package will strengthen Ukraine and send a strong signal to the Kremlin that Ukraine will not be the second Afghanistan.”

Zelensky stated in the interview, “America will stand by Ukraine, protecting Ukrainians and democracy in the world.”

Yesterday, the US House of Representatives approved a $95 billion aid package for the countries of Ukraine and Israel.

This action by the US House of Representatives has been met with reactions from Moscow.

The Russian government has added that this aid package will make Ukraine poorer.
