In the past four days, at least four thousand Afghan migrants have returned from Iran

Bayan News – The Taliban Ministry of Migrants reports that in the past four days, approximately four thousand Afghan migrants have returned to the country from the Islamic fortress border.

The ministry added in a newsletter on Monday (April 29) that three thousand nine hundred and forty-three Afghan migrants have returned from Iran voluntarily and forcefully.

The ministry’s newsletter states that among the returning migrants, there are nearly fifty orphaned children.

The Taliban Ministry of Migrants continues to state that these individuals have been referred to the International Organization for Migration to receive food and non-food assistance.

However, the Iranian government has intensified the process of forcibly deporting undocumented Afghan nationals in the past month.
