Bayan News – Local Taliban officials say that 20 people have died as a result of a boat sinking in the sea in Nangarhar province.
The Taliban governor’s office in Nangarhar said in a statement on Saturday morning (June 1) that the bodies of 5 of the victims of this incident have been recovered so far.
The incident occurred on Friday (May 31).
It is reported that the boat was carrying 25 people, including women and children.
The boat sank in the sea of Mohmand district of Nangarhar province.
