Beyan News – The International Organization for Migration has announced that as a result of a boat capsizing carrying refugees off the shores of Yemen, 39 refugees have lost their lives and 150 other refugees are missing.
The organization wrote on Tuesday (June 11) on the IOM platform that the boat that capsized off the shores of Yemen was carrying 250 refugees and as a result of this incident, 39 refugees have lost their lives.
According to the organization, rescue teams have saved 71 refugees.
The International Organization for Migration further wrote that this incident occurred yesterday.
The identities of these refugees have not been determined yet.
