Putin to Visit North Korea Tomorrow

Bayan News – The Kremlin has announced that Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, will visit North Korea tomorrow, Tuesday (June 18).

The Kremlin statement said that during this trip, Putin will meet and hold talks with Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea.

After this trip, Putin will depart for Vietnam on Thursday.

Putin’s visit to North Korea is taking place after 24 years. He had visited the country in 2000.

The North Korean leader had also traveled to Russia last year.

With the increase in tensions between Russia and the West, the relations between Moscow and North Korea have expanded further towards convergence.
