Taliban Leader: If Everyone Unites to Dismiss Me, I Will Be Happy
Bayan News – Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban, said in his speech on the occasion of Eid al-Adha that if everyone unites and dismisses him, he will be happy, but the division and discord must be abandoned.
The 22-minute audio message of the Taliban leader was released on Monday (June 17) by the national television. The Eid prayer was performed under the leadership of the Taliban leader at the Eidgah Mosque in Kandahar.
The Taliban leader said: “Brothers, this Islamic system of ours is a divine and Sharia system. It is guided by the path of the Messenger of Allah, and may Allah guide it. May the Almighty Allah bring about the same effects on our system as He did on the system of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and the system of the Messenger of Allah.”
Mullah Hibatullah also expressed that he desires brotherhood, consensus, unity, and unity of Muslims.
The Taliban leader added: “I do not want Muslims, both common and special, to be in discord within and outside the system. If one day everyone agrees with me, they dismiss me from this position, I am happy with this, but I am not happy that there is discord and division among them.”
He clearly stated that the existence of discord is the worst problem in governance.
The Sharia Rights of Women Will Be Ensured
Mullah Hibatullah also referred to women’s rights in his speech and asked his subordinates to ensure the Sharia rights of women and mothers.
However, the Taliban leader did not make any mention of the education and schooling of girls.
After the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, the most severe restrictions were imposed on women and girls, including the ban on girls’ education and the ban on women’s work.
