The Taliban delegation led by Zabihullah Mujahid participates in the Doha meeting

Bayan News – The Taliban’s Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday evening (June 25) that the group’s delegation led by Zabihullah Mujahid will participate in the upcoming third Doha meeting.

According to the ministry’s statement, a delegation led by Zabihullah Mujahid will participate in the upcoming Doha meeting as per the Taliban leadership’s directive.

According to the Taliban Foreign Ministry’s statement: “The meeting participants discussed the members of the Islamic Emirate’s delegation in the upcoming Doha meeting, the sanctions on Afghanistan’s financial and banking system, the challenges facing the development of the private sector, and the Afghan government’s actions against narcotics.”

The Doha meeting will be hosted by the United Nations for two days in the next five days (until June 30).

In this meeting, the Taliban’s political opponents, women representatives, and civil society activists have not been invited, and the lack of invitation to these groups has elicited widespread reactions.

It has also been reported that special representatives of some countries, including the United States and Britain, will not participate due to opposition to the composition of the meeting’s agenda.
