Bayan News – Jiaou Xing, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul, says that his country is providing 100 million Chinese yuan to address the needs of returning migrants.
The Chinese ambassador to Kabul met with the acting Minister of Economy of the Taliban on the previous day (July 13) and discussed bilateral economic issues.
The Ministry of Economy’s newsletter added that China’s assistance for addressing the needs of returning migrants will be utilized in coordination with the Taliban.
China and the Taliban have expanded their engagement in political and economic spheres over the past three years.
This country had previously also provided humanitarian aid for the people of Afghanistan.
