Drone Patrol in the Skies of Paktika

Bayan News – Coinciding with the Taliban Defense Minister’s warning about taking control of Afghanistan’s airspace, local sources in Paktika province have reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been patrolling the skies of this province.

The sources said on Thursday (July 25) that this drone was seen over the Barmal district of Paktika province.

It is still unclear which country this drone entered the Afghan airspace from.

The Taliban have not yet said anything about it.

Drones have been patrolling over most of Afghanistan’s provinces for over a year, but their identity has not been determined so far.

This comes as the Taliban Defense Minister emphasized in a speech yesterday that they will take control of Afghanistan’s airspace.
