Bayan News – Russian President Vladimir Putin said that if the US deploys long-range missiles in Germany, Moscow will also take similar actions at a distance from the West.
Putin made these remarks on Sunday, July 28, at a ceremony for the Russian Navy Day in St. Petersburg, and said: “The flight time of the missiles to the targets on our territory, which may be equipped with nuclear warheads in the future, will be about 10 minutes.”
During this speech, the military representatives of China, Algeria, and India were also present.
Putin clearly stated: “We will take similar actions in response to the steps taken by the United States in Germany and other parts of the world.”
The Russian president made these statements as the United States plans to deploy its long-range missiles on German soil by 2026.
Furthermore, Russian and American diplomats believe that Moscow and Washington’s diplomatic relations have deteriorated, and while both countries want to reduce tensions, they have taken steps that have exacerbated the tensions.
