Bayan News – On Sunday (August 4), the Taliban government in the city of Kabul held a memorial service for Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political bureau.

Abdul Wahid Rayan, the head of the Taliban’s Ministry of Information and Culture’s publications and publications department, shared images of the memorial service on social media.

The Taliban’s memorial service was held in the ‘Eidgah’ mosque, which is the largest mosque in the city of Kabul, and hundreds of Taliban officials participated in the ceremony.

The Taliban’s Ministry of Information and Culture official stated that the people of Afghanistan stand alongside the people of Palestine and strongly condemn Israel’s crimes against the people of Gaza.

The participants in the memorial service waved the Palestinian flag to express solidarity.

Concurrently, Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Taliban’s Prime Minister, said in a message that targeting Ismail Haniyeh is a gross violation of all prevailing global standards.

This senior Taliban official, while condemning the Israeli attacks, called on the influential countries of the world and the region to prevent the continuation of the crimes of the Israeli regime in Gaza.
