The Taliban has invited Western diplomats to travel to Kabul
Bayan News – Maulvi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Taliban prime minister, met with Western and European diplomats in Doha and asked them to visit Kabul.
Hamdullah Fitrat, the Taliban deputy spokesman, said that the Taliban political deputy met with a group of American and European diplomats in Doha, the capital of Qatar, yesterday (August 4).
This meeting was held with diplomats from the United States, Britain, Canada, Italy, France, South Korea, Australia, and Germany. They discussed bilateral relations and cooperation on security and humanitarian issues.
According to the Taliban deputy spokesman, Maulvi Abdul Kabir shared information with the Western and European diplomats about the developments in Afghanistan over the past three years, especially regarding the stability and security of the country, and asked them to travel to Kabul to assess the situation up close.
However, three years have passed since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, but no country has yet recognized the Taliban government.
