Residents of Fars, Iran Set Deadline for Expulsion of Afghan Immigrants
Bayan News – Iranian media reported on Friday (August 16) that residents of some areas in the Fars province of Iran have set a deadline and ultimatum for the expulsion of Afghan citizens by putting up banners.
According to the published reports, warning banners for the expulsion of Afghan immigrants have been installed in the areas of Dashtok, Tasuj, and Valiasr in the Fars province.
The reports state that the local residents have asked the immigrants to evacuate their rented homes and hand them over to the owners.
The message printed on these banners has warned the violators that legal action will be taken against them.
It is reported that these banners were installed on the orders of the residents of the Fars province.
Similar actions had previously been taken in some areas of Iran.
