The Ukrainian Army Destroys Two Strategic Bridges on Russian Soil

Bayan News – International media reported on Saturday (August 17) that Ukrainian forces continue to advance into Russian territory and have succeeded in destroying two strategic bridges over the Seim River in Kursk.

In its advance towards Kursk, Ukraine destroyed two important strategic bridges in the Glushkovo area, disrupting the logistics of the Russian army in this border region.

According to the Russian state news agency TASS, these bridges were located over the Seim River near the towns of Glushkovo and Zvanovo.

Alexey Smyrnov, the governor of Kursk, had announced the relocation of 20,000 border residents to safe locations before the destruction of these bridges.

According to reports from Russian sources, the destruction of these bridges has prevented the evacuation of their residents. No official statement has yet been issued by the Ukrainian government on this matter.

The “Osint Technical” platform, which publishes photos and video footage of the Ukraine war on the X platform, has written that the destroyed bridge was the only paved road connection to the south of the Seim River.
