The Islamic Republic Executed Two More Afghan Citizens

Bayan News – The human rights organization Hangao announced on Monday (August 19) the execution of eight prisoners, including two Afghan nationals.

The human rights organization stated that these prisoners were executed in the early hours of today in the central prisons of Yazd and Shiraz; however, no information has been released about the identities of the two Afghan nationals.

According to Hangao, the executed individuals were Adel Raouf Shebkhash, 23, and Abdulrahman Damani, 34, from Zahedan, but the identities of the two Afghan citizens are under investigation.

The human rights organization said that one of the Afghan prisoners was executed on charges of “premeditated murder.”

In another statement, this organization reported the implementation of the death sentence against three people in the central prison of Shiraz, stating that these individuals were executed on Saturday, August 28, on charges of drug-related crimes and premeditated murder.

Recently, the Iran Human Rights Organization, in a report, announced that at least 300 people, including 20 Afghans, were executed in the prisons of this country in the first seven months of the current solar year.
