After the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan also accepted the credentials of the Taliban ambassador

Bayan News – After the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan on Thursday, August 22, also announced the acceptance of the credentials of Mohammad Arrahman Rahimani, the chargé d’affaires of the Taliban embassy in this country.

The designated Taliban diplomat in Kazakhstan met with Alibek Bakayev, the Deputy Foreign Minister of that country.

According to this report, Bakayev considered the acceptance of the Taliban embassy’s chargé d’affaires in Astana as important for expanding trade relations between Kazakhstan and this group.

Kazakhstan does not recognize the Taliban, but has established good relations with this group over the past three years.

The government of Kazakhstan also removed the Taliban from the list of “terrorist groups” in this country a few months ago.
