Tension Kabul – Islamabad; Islamabad has no evidence of TTP presence in Afghanistan

Bayan News – Fasihuddin Fatret, the chief of staff of the Taliban army, says that Islamabad has no proof regarding the presence of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Fatret made these statements on Wednesday (August 28) at a press conference, stating that the TTP controls areas inside Pakistan and conducts its operations from there.

Referring to the claims of Pakistani officials, he noted that during this time, Islamabad has not presented any documents regarding the presence of the TTP on Afghan soil.

The chief of staff of the Taliban army clearly stated that Afghanistan will never allow the TTP to use its territory against Pakistan.

Fatret added, “Pakistan should not repeatedly place its weaknesses on Afghanistan, and we definitely reject Pakistan’s claims. The TTP is not funded or equipped from here.”

It is worth mentioning that the number of armed attacks has increased in recent days in Balochistan, Pakistan, and in the latest incident, 70 people were killed in an armed attack by insurgents.
