Expulsion of Criminal Migrants to Afghanistan; Germany and the Taliban Enter into Talks

Bayan News – It has been reported that negotiations between the German government and the Taliban regarding the expulsion of dangerous migrants to Afghanistan have been facilitated by the efforts of the Qatari government.

On Saturday (August 31), Al Jazeera reported, citing a Qatari Foreign Ministry official, that Doha has facilitated the negotiations between Germany and the Taliban for the expulsion of criminal migrants from Afghanistan.

According to the report, these migrants have been sent to Kabul on a charter flight from Qatar Airways.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry official also noted that Qatar’s role in establishing communication between the Taliban and the international community aligns with the country’s policy of supporting efforts to achieve and maintain global peace.

He added that Qatar is currently hosting several diplomatic missions from Western countries for Afghanistan and also acts as a guardian of their interests.

Additionally, a spokesperson for the German government stated yesterday that regional countries have been asked to facilitate the expulsion of criminal migrants.
