Taliban: 19 Civilians Killed and Wounded in Suicide Attack on Darul Aman Road in Kabul
Bayan News – Officials from the Taliban Police Command in Kabul have confirmed that in the explosion on the Darul Aman road in Kabul on the evening of Monday (August 2), six civilians lost their lives and 13 others were injured.
Khalid Zadran, spokesperson for the Kabul Police Command, wrote on the platform X that the nature of the explosion was a suicide attack.
This Taliban security official in Kabul also stated that in this incident, six people, including one woman, have been killed and 13 others injured.
According to this Taliban security official, the suicide bomber detonated his explosive materials in the area of “Qala-i Bakhtiyar” in western Kabul.
He also mentioned that the injured have been transferred to hospitals and that investigations into this attack have begun.
Additionally, a source from the Independence Hospital in Kabul had previously confirmed to Bayan News that several injured individuals from this incident were brought to the hospital.
This source suggested that given the injuries of the victims, the nature of the explosion might be suicide.
The source added that the health condition of some of the injured is critical and they have been transferred to the Emergency Hospital in Kabul for better treatment.
Although no group has claimed responsibility for this incident so far, the Khorasan branch of ISIS has previously claimed responsibility for such events.
The Turkish Foreign Minister refrained from meeting with Muttaqi
