Qomi reacted to the lack of respect shown by the Taliban’s diplomatic representative towards the Iranian national anthem
Bayan News – Hasan Kazemi Qomi, the special representative and ambassador of Iran in Kabul, described the Taliban representative’s failure to stand during the playing of the national anthem at the 38th International Conference on Islamic Unity in Tehran as a violation of diplomatic principles.
On Thursday night (September 19), Qomi wrote on the X platform that disrespecting diplomatic principles under the pretext of a ban on playing music has no meaning or justification according to Sharia.
According to him, if that were the case, listening to music would also be included.
The Taliban’s diplomatic representative who attended the event did not stand in respect for the national anthem of the Islamic Republic.
This is the second time that Taliban diplomatic representatives have done such a thing in neighboring countries of Afghanistan.
A Taliban diplomatic representative in Peshawar also failed to stand in respect for the national anthem of Pakistan, which led to the Pakistani ambassador in Islamabad being summoned by the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
