Execution of 14 Prisoners, Including Two Afghan Citizens, in Shiraz Prison, Iran

Bayan News – Iranian human rights organizations have reported that in the past week, 14 prisoners, including two Afghan citizens, have been executed in the central prison of Shiraz.

The Iran Human Rights Organization, in a statement, named the two Afghan citizens as Abdullah and Mobasher, stating that they were sentenced to death on charges of drug trafficking and murder.

Yesterday (September 28), the organization said that in the past two weeks alone, around 19 prisoners have been executed in Shiraz Central Prison on various charges.

According to the Iran Human Rights Organization, the number of executions in the Islamic Republic is increasing, and the international community must not remain silent about these daily executions in Iran.

Iranian officials have yet to comment on the matter.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, local sources in Nimruz also reported the execution of Nur Mohammad Nurzehi, a resident of that province, in Zahedan Prison, Iran.
