Two Armed Attacks in Iran; Six People, Including a Revolutionary Guard Commander, Killed

Bayan News – It has been reported that two separate attacks in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan province resulted in the deaths of six people, including a commander of the Revolutionary Guard.

Iranian media have described these attacks as acts of terrorism, stating that the first attack occurred on the morning of Tuesday, October 1, targeting participants of the “Festival of Compassion” at Mohseni Sheikhán School in the city of Bent, in the Nikshahr district of Sistan and Baluchistan.

According to the reports, armed individuals opened fire from a Peugeot vehicle at the attendees of the event, resulting in the deaths of four people, including a Revolutionary Guard commander.

Additionally, it has been reported that the second attack targeted a vehicle carrying Iranian security forces in the Khāsh district of the same province.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for these armed attacks.
