In Two Israeli Attacks in Gaza, 24 People Were Killed

Bayan News – Reuters reports that following two airstrikes by the Israeli army on a school and a mosque, 24 Palestinian refugees have been killed and 94 others injured.

According to the published report, the Israeli army targeted a school and a mosque where refugees had taken shelter in the early hours of Sunday (October 6).

The mosque and school where the refugees were sheltered are located near Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

These deadly attacks come as the war between Hamas and Israel approaches its first anniversary.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked southern Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking around 250 others hostage.

According to published statistics, nearly 42,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli retaliatory assault on Gaza so far.
