Armed attack on a passenger vehicle in Faryab-Badghis: three killed and eight injured
Bayan News – Local sources report that unidentified gunmen opened fire on the occupants of a “Flancoach” vehicle on the Faryab-Badghis route.
According to the sources, the incident occurred on Thursday evening (October 17) in the Qaisar district of Faryab province. As a result of the attack, three passengers were killed, and eight others were injured.
According to the sources, two Taliban forces are among the dead.
The identities of the other victims have not yet been confirmed.
Local Taliban officials in Badghis and Faryab have not commented on the matter.
So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
This comes as, in the past month, the Khorasan branch of ISIS has claimed responsibility for two armed attacks against civilians and Taliban forces in Badghis province.
