Five people were killed in the last 24 hours in four provinces of Afghanistan
Bayan News – It has been reported that five people were killed by unknown individuals in the provinces of Takhar, Laghman, Paktia, and Nangarhar.
According to local sources, yesterday (November 8), a tribal elder was killed in Laghman province, and a shopkeeper was killed in Paktika province, in eastern Afghanistan.
Other sources report that a shop owner in the third district of Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province, was killed by unknown armed individuals.
Additionally, it has been reported from northern Afghanistan that the hanged body of a man was found inside a school in Taloqan city, the capital of Takhar province.
The motives behind these killings remain unclear, and Taliban security officials have not commented.
In recent days, the rate of targeted killings has increased in several provinces of Afghanistan.
