Gas Poisoning in Nimruz; Three Children Lose Their Lives

Bayan News – Reports indicate that three children have died due to gas poisoning in Nimruz province, while their parents are in critical condition.

A local source in Nimruz told Afghan-affiliated media that the incident occurred last night (December 9) in the Khwaja Karim area of Zaranj city, the provincial capital.

According to the source, the victims include a 14-year-old boy, a 12-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old girl.

The source further stated that the children’s parents are in a coma.

This tragedy is part of a recurring pattern each winter, as the use of gas for heating continues to claim lives among families.
