Taliban Minister of Commerce: Best Opportunities for Foreign Investment in Afghanistan Created
Bayan News – Nuroodin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Commerce for the Taliban, officially inaugurated the “Afghan-Turkmen” exhibition during his visit to Turkmenistan.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban government spokesperson, wrote today, Thursday (March 6) on the X platform that representatives from forty countries attended the opening ceremony of this exhibition.
Mujahid added that Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmenistan national leader, visited a foreign exhibition for the first time.
The acting Minister of Industry and Commerce emphasized the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan and stated that the two sides should have extensive economic and trade relations.
He clearly stated that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has provided the best opportunities for foreign investors.
Mujahid further wrote that the Turkmenistan national leader, in a meeting with the acting Minister of Commerce, recommended to his country’s officials to use Afghan materials such as Gul-e-Sikha (traditional Afghan jewelry) and precious stones for the construction of the second phase of the Arkadhan City.
Nuroodin Azizi had recently traveled to Turkmenistan at the head of a delegation to inaugurate this exhibition.
Turkmenistan is among the countries that have close economic and trade relations with Afghanistan.
