Turkey Sends Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan Through Railways
Bayan News – The Turkish government has announced that the country’s humanitarian aid will be transported to Afghanistan through railways via the routes of Iran and Turkmenistan.
The delivery of humanitarian aid through railways is being implemented by the order of the President of Turkey.
The order, issued on Wednesday (June 5), states that the Turkish State Railways Administration will transport the charity aid sent to Afghanistan to Afghanistan through the Turkey-Iran-Turkmenistan railway route by the end of 2024.
Previously, Turkey had been transporting its humanitarian aid to Afghanistan through various air and land routes.
Turkey is one of the aid-providing countries to Afghanistan, and recently the officials of this country have announced the dispatch of the 20th “Train of Kindness” carrying more than 600 tons of aid cargo in 43 wagons to the people of Afghanistan.
