The Pentagon: We don’t have a vision of cooperation with the Taliban in the fight against ISIS

Bayan News – Sabrina Singh, a spokesperson for the United States Department of Defense or the Pentagon, says that Washington does not have a vision of cooperation with the Taliban in the fight against ISIS.

She added on Thursday (August 22) in a press conference that the United States has more important partners at the international level to defeat ISIS.

This comes while previously American media had reported that the United States, in the framework of strengthening the fight against ISIS and helping to track down ISIS Khorasan, is trying to cooperate with the Taliban government.

The organization of ISIS attacks in the countries of Iran and Russia has raised international concerns about the resurgence of ISIS.

In addition, the caretaker Taliban government in recent days has destroyed some ISIS hideouts in some provinces of Afghanistan.
