Afghan Embassy in Australia Continues Its Operations with Strength and Stability
Bayan News – The Afghan Embassy in Australia announced on Monday (November 11) that its operations for Afghan citizens are continuing with strength and stability.
In a statement posted on the X platform, the embassy added: “In recent months, the Taliban have made attempts to disrupt the consular affairs and diplomatic representations of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which may have caused concern among some of our dear compatriots.”
The Afghan Embassy in Australia also described the attempts by the Taliban’s interim government to halt its activities as unsuccessful.
The statement from the embassy noted that the Taliban interim government’s efforts to suspend diplomatic representation activities violate international conventions.
The embassy’s statement emphasized that the Afghan Embassy in Canberra remains ready to provide services to Afghan citizens.
This announcement comes as the Taliban’s interim Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared around three months ago that the actions of several Afghan diplomatic and consular missions in Western countries, including Australia, were unauthorized and lacked legitimacy.
