Use of Smartphones Prohibited Among Interim Government Forces
Bayan News – The Security Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in the interim government has announced that the use of smartphones by forces at checkpoints and security offices is now banned.
The Security Directorate has issued this directive to government forces, and a copy of the official document has also been shared with the media.
According to the published document, based on a verbal order from Hibatullah Akhundzada, all governors and police commanders are instructed to ensure that forces and security personnel assigned to checkpoints and guard posts refrain from using large phones while on duty.
The Ministry of Interior of the interim government has not officially commented on this matter.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense of the interim government had prohibited the use of smartphones by its forces in military centers.
Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the interim Minister of Defense, stated that using smartphones leads to a waste of time and also negatively affects the mental focus of the forces.
