Bayan News – Passport officials say that in the next three months, facilities will be provided to facilitate the distribution of passports to applicants, and the distribution process will be expedited.
Abdul Karim Hassib, the head of the passport office, added to the media that in order to expedite passport distribution, three distribution centers will be established in various parts of Kabul city.
He said, “We have a plan to completely resolve the passport issue within two or three months. Newly printed passports will be allowed to be distributed in two or three centers, according to our plan and in accordance with the applicants in the provinces.”
The head of the passport office also continued to mention the acquisition of passports through the black market, stating that corruption in this department has reached its lowest level.
According to Hassib, about 200 corrupt individuals have been arrested by relevant forces and referred to judicial authorities for investigation and inquiry.
