Pakistan’s Interior Minister: TTP Uses Afghan Soil against Pakistan

Bayan News – Ahmed Bughti, Pakistan’s Interior Minister, has once again claimed that the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been using Afghan soil against Pakistan.

In an interview with the media of his country on Monday (September 10), he urged the interim government in Kabul to remain committed to the Doha commitments, which entail not allowing Afghan soil to be used against other countries.

He makes these claims while recently the TTP had reportedly occupied several military posts of Pakistan in North Waziristan.

Simultaneously, it is reported that following an explosion in the Worsak area of Peshawar, a border police officer was killed, and eight others were injured.

Pakistani media has reported that this morning around 10:30 local time, a vehicle belonging to Pakistani security forces was targeted.

Over the past year, the number of armed attacks against the Pakistani government’s army in various parts of the country has increased, with the TTP claiming responsibility for most of these attacks.

However, the officials of the Islamic Emirate have consistently rejected the claims of senior security officials of the Pakistani government and have stated that the Islamic Emirate is not responsible for security problems within Pakistan.
