Cultural activist arrested by Islamic Emirate intelligence in Faryab

It has been reported from Light Faryab that Mohammad Kazem Amini, a writer and cultural activist in the province, was arrested by The Islamic Emirate’s intelligence forces from Maymana city, the capital of Faryab Province.

People close to him told local reporters that Mr. Amini was arrested on Sunday morning (April 9).

After his arrest, Mr. Amini informed his family, after which his access to his family was cut off.

Mr. Amini is believed to have been a local critic of the Islamic Emirate in the city of Maymana.

The cultural activist was also teaching teacher’s teaching in Faryab Province.

However, people close to him have said that Mr. Amini has published more than 30 books during his cultural career.

So faryab security officials have not yet commented on Mr. Amini’s arrest.
