Russian Foreign Minister: We will not recognize the Taliban until the formation of a comprehensive government
Bayan news
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says that Moscow will not recognize the international standards, including the formation of an inclusive government, human rights and women’s rights, until the caretaker government in Kabul fulfills them.
The Russian Foreign Minister made these statements in a press conference in Moscow.
He also considered the Taliban as a fact in his press conference and stated that dialogue with them is considered necessary.
Lavrov also asked the United States to release its foreign exchange reserves to solve Afghanistan’s economic challenges.
After the domination of the Islamic Emirate over Afghanistan and the formation of the caretaker government, no country has yet recognized the Taliban.
