European Union’s reaction to the poisoning of students in northern Afghanistan

Bayan news

Four days after the poisoning of female students and female teachers in Sarpul province of northern Afghanistan, the European Union reacted and called it a crime.

In a newsletter, this union asked the caretaker government of Kabul to identify and hold accountable the perpetrators of this event by carefully investigating it.

The European Union has also stressed that the caretaker government of Kabul should provide education for Afghan girls as soon as possible.

At the same time, a number of other Western officials have also condemned this event and demanded that the security of school girls and children be maintained by the caretaker government of Kabul.

However, on Sunday of this week, about 80 female students and four female teachers were poisoned in two schools in Sancharak district of Sarpul province in northern Afghanistan.

Although the local officials of the caretaker government of Kabul have started the investigation, no one has been arrested in connection with this incident yet.
