Bayan News – Local sources in Afghanistan have informed the media that a drug addict in Dowlat Abad District of Faryab Province in northern Afghanistan has set fire to five family members.
According to sources, the incident took place on Thursday (November 15) in the village of Mahmudkhel in Dowlat Abad District of Faryab Province.
According to reports, the addicted individual used petrol to set fire to his spouse and four children in a house, resulting in the death of one child and severe injuries to the other four family members.
It is said that the addict fled the scene after setting his family members on fire.
Security officials in Faryab have not yet commented on the matter.
A similar incident had previously occurred in Faryab Province.
