Attack by Armed Assailants on a Courthouse in Istanbul, Turkey

Bayan News – Turkish media reports that on Wednesday (February 6th), two armed assailants attacked a courthouse known as “Çağlayan” in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Turkish Ministry of Interior has classified this attack as a terrorist act and attributed the assailants to the “Revolutionary People’s Liberation Front of Turkey” group.

During the confrontation, both armed assailants were killed, and six Turkish police officers were injured.

According to published reports, the assailants launched their attack at the inspection point in front of Gate “C” and engaged in a firefight with the police.

No group has claimed responsibility for this incident.

A few days ago, an armed assailant had attacked a church in Turkey, resulting in the death of one person.

However, in recent days, the Turkish government has arrested a significant number of individuals on charges of being affiliated with ISIS.
