Israeli attack on the transit location of Hezbollah and the Revolutionary Guards in Damascus, Syria
Bayan News – International media have reported that Israel has targeted the transit location of Hezbollah commanders and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in a drone attack on the streets of Kfar Suseh in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Rami Abdel Rahman, the director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, told Al Arabiya on Thursday (February 21) that this attack was an assassination type, targeting a building where Hezbollah commanders and Iranian Revolutionary Guards transit.
According to him, two of the casualties in this Israeli attack were non-Syrians, but it is not clear whether they were Iranian commanders and Hezbollah from Lebanon or not.
The director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights further added that preliminary information indicates that today’s attack in Kfar Suseh resembles the assassination attempt on Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy head of Hamas’ political office.
It is worth mentioning that official Syrian media have also confirmed that Israel has fired several missiles at the residential neighborhood of Kfar Suseh.
