Deputy President of the United States: Israel has not made efforts to reduce the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza
Bayan News – Kamala Harris, the Deputy President of the United States, criticized Israel for not making efforts to reduce the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
In a speech delivered yesterday (March 3) at an event in Selma, Alabama, Harris stated that the people of Gaza are in inhumane conditions, and humanity demands action.
She further called for negotiations between Israel and Hamas, urging the Hamas group to agree to the release of Israeli hostages to halt the six-week-long conflict.
The Deputy President of the United States added, “The Israeli government must make greater efforts to increase the significant flow of aid, as there is no excuse.”
These statements are made on the eve of the presidential elections in the United States, where efforts are being made to achieve an achievement for the Biden team in the presidential elections through the cessation of the Gaza conflict.
Earlier, Biden had also stated that it is possible for a ceasefire to be reached between Israel and Hamas during the month of Ramadan in the past two weeks.
