Bayan News – Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban, called media reports about Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of the Islamic Party, incorrect.
The Taliban spokesperson wrote on the X platform on Wednesday (March 26) that Hekmatyar is a jihadist figure in the country and has been relocated to an appropriate place.
Mujahid further stated that no action has been taken against Hekmatyar, and his dignity and prestige remain intact.
Recently, a number of media outlets have published reports suggesting that Hekmatyar has been expelled from his residence by the Taliban.
According to the media reports, it was claimed that Hekmatyar had constructed and lived in a residence on state-owned land belonging to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
