Bayan News – Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, says that Paris is attempting to prevent Israel from responding to Iran.
The President of France further added, “We will do everything in our power to prevent an escalation of tensions and convince Israel not to retaliate against Iran.”
Macron reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran responded proportionally to Israel’s attack on its consulate in Damascus.
On the other hand, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of Iran, stated that he has sent a warning message to Israel through his Egyptian counterpart, although the content of the message has not been disclosed.
He also mentioned that he has discussed regional developments with the Secretary-General of the United Nations and foreign ministers of regional countries, including China, on the X platform.
Abdollahian continued, “In these discussions, I have clearly stated the Islamic Republic of Iran’s positions regarding the importance of peace and sustainable security in the region and the prevention of escalating tensions, emphasizing the non-negotiable national security and interests of our country.”
Simultaneously with the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, it is planned for Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, to visit Pakistan.
