Karzai once again deemed the “National Accord” essential for stability in Afghanistan

Bayan News – Hamid Karzai, former president of Afghanistan, emphasized the importance of the National Accord in the country during his meeting with the Political Deputy of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) in Kabul.

Mr. Karzai wrote on Monday (April 22) on the X platform that he met with Mark Pototschnik and discussed the situation in Afghanistan and the region.

The former president of Afghanistan expressed his appreciation for the United Nations’ cooperation with the people of his country, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and facilitating humanitarian aid.

Karzai also mentioned that the discussion included the topic of girls’ education, emphasizing the reopening of schools and universities for girls.

Once again, he emphasized that the National Accord is essential for peace and sustainable stability in Afghanistan.
